I was reading a Don Winslow book, "The Cartel." Like many authors, he will start a chapter with a quotation. In this case, he quoted a song, "When Sinatra Played Juarez." That caught my attention. Who knew? There was Las Vegas and there was Juarez, a then, quaint little Mexican town. Tom Russel is the singer of the song and so I dove in. I like Americana/Country with modern embellishments and so here is my recommendation:

I enjoyed this album way more than the one with "Juarez" which is worth the buy as a single. This Wounded Heart Album has some great collaborations and I recommend it. The album is from 2007....which makes "who's going too build your wall?" somewhat prophetic......so I have some catching up to do.
