Netflix: The Pale Blue Eye—nice period piece with a marvelous actor portraying Edgar Allen Poe
Kaleidoscope—Hype was more than what was delivered. Well done but a very sad story.
The Recruit—In my alternative universe, this could be me!
The ExtraordinaryAttorney Woo—crossing cultures (Korea) and observe an extraordinary actress portraying an attorney with autism.
AMC Happy Valley Season 3. (If this is new to you, watch season one and two first)
Books: If you do not have the Chirp Ap on your phone, consider downloading it and obtaining audiobooks through it; they sell for $1.99 to $4.99 My most recent is The Money Culture by Michael Lewis. While published in 1990, it describes beautifully many of the reality checks we all need when trying to understand Wall Street.
House of God by Sam Shem. I may have recommended this in the past but it remains a Bible of sorts painting a picture of residency as I sort-of experienced it.
The Complete Western Stories by Leonard Elmore. I don’t typically read Westerns but this collection is wonderful and I have read through it twice.
Three Pines by Louise Penny: If you like mysteries, this series is said to be quite good and the recent TV series of the same name does not do it justice.
